I've done many projects over the years that range across many fields, but never has a field quite fit like the visual one - a 2D finish one at that.
You see, as a darling whippersnapper, I LOVED 2D animation and was amazed that they could achieve such flat colors. I wanted to do that! When computers came on the scene, I knew that my solution had arrived - well sort of, baby steps.
Many years, tutorials, projects, and research, I'm finally in a position to say "I'm a professional!" (holds for applause), lol.
My specialty lies absolutely within the realm of anime and similar non-photo realistic styles - or NPR as it's known. I LOVED anime long before I ever knew that's what it was called. I think the earliest show I was exposed to was RobotRedding, which was a dubbed version of Rescue Children or something. Another was Heidi, In The Beginning: Bible Stories, The Flying House and a bear cub anime that has a French name I can never seem to remember - it's a family joke at this point, lol.
Long story short, 3D was my answer, after I thought cel animation in PowerPoint was - answers change okay! lol. The trick is, let 3D be 3D - just let it be the tool you use to get the result and it'll work for you!
