Genesis 1

Hey all!
Today I get to share with you something I was working on last year. I finished around December and can you believe it, it's almost December again, hahaha. Anyway, it is a short film on Genesis 1, the creation of everything, so I really hope and pray that it is a blessing to you!!

When GOD asked me to do this, I was not sure how it would come out, because I needed people characters and I was not experienced in modelling people... I of course knew about Make Human, and GOD gave me release to use it, so yey, I did not have to model Adam and Eve from scratch. Another issue was how to show them, because they were naked and, because of sin, you don't just go plastering naked people all over the internet, hahaha. Without going for the "hide in the bushes" kind of scenery, which does work, I went for showing only what I felt could be shown without causing anyone to stumble, with them being out in the open, which they were.
Other spects that were extremely difficult, were things like the trees and grass and the animals. Not to mention the sound! Oh dear the sound was hard! haha. I had never made anything like this - mostly tests and those didn't have any sound. Now, I needed sound effects and no experience. Thankfully, GOD helped me make what was needed for the project. What I couldn't record, HE helped me fabricate. Like the splash. I can't safely record a large splash without my phone getting wet, so for those I had to use various MIDI instruments to stick something together from memory and I'm happy with that.
For the bubbles sound, I blew bubbles in a measuring jug or cup (I'd rather say jug, because it is a good size) using a paper towel roll. It gave big bubbles and the jug was deep enough to give a nice full sound. It just required mixing to make it stereo and sound like more than just one time's bubble blowing, haha.
The list is almost endless when it comes to this project's make due and learning!! GOD has been so faithful to help me complete what HE wanted me to do and though I would like to do the whole Bible, I cannot make any promises or commitments to that, haha. This one alone took, what feels like, a year to complete, hahaha. When you make almost everything yourself, it does take a while, hahaha.
